Lover of all things 2 wheeled, Mike has over 4 decades experience in the cycle industry and has been riding since childhood and still enjoys hitting the trails on his Giant Trance and scrambler. Mike’s family has been running the shop for 40 years. Mike took over the store in 2007. He is the life and soul of the shop and it would not be the shop it is today without him. He captains and guides the team to be the well-oiled machine it is. If you are after advice on what bike is for you, or no fluff product advice, Mike is your man.

Will is a hardcore MTB rider and has always had a love for all things bike. He rides a Reign 29er 1 to work every shift and is an essential part of the team at Giant Chelmsford. You will often find him pulling insane stunts on Danbury Common and tearing up the local trails. If it’s MTB that interests you Will is your man.

Ben has been working in the trade for about 15 years! Ben rides his bike every day. If you live in Chelmsford and you don’t know Ben where have you been? He is a legend in the community and a legend mechanic and has the most impressive dreadlocks on earth.  He is always smiling and happy to talk bikes all day every day with a wealth of knowledge on all things two wheeled. He is the keystone in the shops spirit of complete passion for cycling. His favourite type of cycling is mountain biking and he Loves exploring all the trials.

Tim is the in store pro.  Road bikes, mountain bikes, hybrids, fixed gear track bikes and more, he counts 7 bikes currently in his collection and is always adding to it duly adhering to the N+1 rule! Tim has raced semi-professionally for one of Britain’s biggest pro teams and knows his way around the competitive scene of the sport. Tim loves the freedom of riding. Tim sums up his place in the shop as “I’m usually crashing bikes and Ben and Tony fix them”.

Leon is a passionate rider and has a love for road bikes. He is a friendly member of staff with a great love for cycling. His nickname in the shop is “Leon the thumb”. He has the strongest thumbs known to man, there is no tyre that has defeated him to date. Leon got into riding by commuting to and from work. His dream is to ride the Stelvio Pass in Italy, the highest pass in Europe! Leon’s dream bike is the one he is riding, a TCR 0 SRAM Red!

A lifetime cyclist, Tony was a keen BMXer in his teens, now hes a mountain bike fan trail riding on his XTC advanced. He commutes to the shop rain or shine and keeps up with trends and technology riding a Giant Full+ ebike. Tony’s been mechanic for over 25 years with 1000’s of hours of mechanical experience of repairs, servicing and build ups on all types of bike. A man of few words, but a man you can trust your bike with.
